You can find them at your local grocery store or farmers market. I like to use dark corn syrup in this recipe, but you can also use light corn syrup if you prefer. Ingredients:

1 / 3 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 3 eggs

1 cup dark corn syrup 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a small bowl, whisk together flour and salt; set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in chopped pecans and flour mixture until well combined. Pour mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until filling is set and crust is golden brown.
