You might want to add a pinch if using unsalted milk. Instructions: To a large microwave-safe bowl, add all ingredients, and stir until combined.

Microwave on high power for 2 minutes. Stir again, then continue microwaving on high power in 30 second intervals until oatmeal is cooked through to your desired consistency; mine took an additional 1 minute 30 seconds for a total cook time of 4 minutes (yields very creamy results). Allow oatmeal to cool slightly before serving so you don’t burn your tongue, about 2 minutes.
